Today most of the blueprints are made on the computer and most guitar makers use 3d cad software to design and make their guitars. Well they use cad software to do the design, and then take the design and use a cam software that tells an cnc machines to make the part.
Like you would design a nice looking guitar body in the 3d cad software. Move the completed design to a cam software. And from that the cnc machine would cut out the guitar body for you. And it would come out perfect every time.
Well this you see below is one of them old fashioned blueprints, it's of an white Ibanez electric guitar. You can see the different measurements of the guitar in the wallpaper / blueprint. This is actually how drawing blueprints where made back in the day.
The view is of the guitar body. And you can see the fretboard, pickups, whammy bar. The lower part of the electric guitar is only the blueprint so we only get to see the drawings of the saddle and some of the controls.
However this I think is a very nice guitar wallpaper. It's a big one also the size is 1440x900 and would be great for everyone running widescreen computer monitors.
