With Sprezel D-Thing
This electric guitar have something special that I have been thinking about for a while. This Suhr Andy Wood Signature Model Electric Guitar have been in the works for a while now. It's a Suhr Modern guitar that's been changed to Andy's specs. Including the Sperzel D-Thing. That's what I was talking about. You can see it in the picture of the headstock. What the Sperzel D-Thing will allow you to do is this. While you are playing you can with a flick change the tuning of you're guitar from Standard to Drop D Tuning. Neat don't you think. Like most things I have found that, if you can imagine it someone somewhere have already made it. Or at least made a patent for it.
Because this is a signature electric guitar, the signature is laser etched into the back of the Mahogany headstock. The neck is Mahogany with a Pau Ferro fretboard that has Jumbo Stainless Steel frets. The body is also Mahogany painted black and the top is obviously quilted Maple with a Dark Inferno Burst. The pickups are Suhr’s DSV in the neck position and DSH+ in the bridge.
This is a very nice guitar. And I really like the wood of the Mahogany headstock and the tuners also gives it that little extra.
