If you have been following Great Guitar Sound you might remember me showing you this video Buster B Jones - Guitarville - Nylon Strings - Fingerstyle of Buster B Jones playing Guitarville only some months ago. And so you might think that this is a repost. Well it is the same video yes. However this one is a bit longer.

Let me explain, what I didn't know then was from where this video was taken from. It turns out that the video is from a DVD called
Guitar Portraits The Music and
Thoughts of Buster B. Jones,
Stefan Grossman and John Miller

And if you haven't already seen this one. You are missing out big time. This DVD is loaded with performances of Buster B Jones, Stefan Grossman and John Miller. If you like fingerstyle guitar or great instrumental acoustic music, you really should look this one up.

Well like I said this video gives you a great performance by Buster B Jones playing Guitarville on his nylon string acoustic guitar. But not only that. Because this DVD is called Guitar Portraits. We get to hear from Buster B Jones how he became a guitar player. His mother used to call him "Little Tornado" when he was a kid, because he was so full of energy.

Nowdays they give drugs to children like that to calm them down, but not to Buster. Insted they gave him a record player and a guitar. And the rest.. Well.. He sure plays like a little tornado.
