Do you know of Matt "Guitar" Murphy?
Well he have had a long career and have also appeard in the movie Blues Brothers and also been playing in the band Blues Brothers. You might remember that movie. I think it's a great movie. Well I like that old cop car they drive around in. Anyhow Matt "Guitar" Murphy with legendary status having worked with many great musicians over his long career now can add a signature axe from Delaney Guitars to his list of achievements.
"Matt 'Guitar' Murphy is a legend in the industry and epitomizes what we look for in an endorsed artist. Working with Matt to build his 'ideal' guitar was such an honor. We both were so pleased with the results that we decided to make it available to the public," said Mike Delaney, owner of Delaney Guitars.
"This project has been a lot of fun working on design ideas I have been percolating for years. With Mike Delaney's help, we put together a well balanced guitar with smooth neck action with a warm tone," said Murphy.
This MGM guitar is made with an alder body that have a figured maple top dyed ocean blue, and a maple/rosewood neck that have a soft "C" neck profile. The pickups are CreamT “Custom 61” pickups with a nice looking Hipshot bridge, Grover tuners, master volume and tone along with a three way switch. Matt's have his signature engraved on the natural figured maple pick guard. Not only that each guitar will be accompanied by a signed certificate of authorization.
