♫ Riff Raff/Let There be Rock - Terra Firma Album ♫
Well it's Friday again!! And it's time to rock. Some of you might not know that Tommy Emmanuel have a brother, Phil Emmanuel.
They are both great guitarists and have played togehter many times. In 1994 they released an album together called Terra Firma. The album was later re-released in 2004 by Sony along with Tommy Emmanuels album Determination.
Both Terra Firma and Determination I would say have the same "sound", however the song AC/DC Medly: Riff Raff/Let There be Rock that Tommy and Phil did really stands out. There's definitely more rock in this song than the rest.

"AC/DC Medley: Riff Raff/Let There be Rock" is actually the last song on the Terra Firma album, it's track 16 and it gives the album that little extra. The album kinda like "it goes out with a bang" if you catch my drift.
Yet the beginning and ending on this song is very much blues inspired with both Tommy and Phil playing their Acoustic Guitars. This and some slide guitar to give that blues sound. Later on they pick up their Electric Guitars and well.. it's AC/DC all the way. I really like how they incorporated blues and rock music in this song, it goes together very well.
While the video is not a live performance of Phil and Tommy playing we do get to see a lot of pictures of both Tommy and Phil during their on stage performances. We also get to watch pictures of them on their Electric and Acoustic guitars both solo and together.
