♫ Mario Martin Green Guitar and Olson Acoustic Guitar
Hello everyone!
First things first, today it’s that special day of the week again namely Friday!! And I have a special treat for you all too. I tell you I sat glued to the screen watching this video.
Phil Keaggy is here demonstrating some of the pedals for Visual Sound, and it sure sound’s great! Playing an custom Mario Martin Green Guitar Fender Telecaster with Duesenberg Pickups and plugged into the Visual Sound’s Route 66 pedal and Truetone Clean Boost makes an awesome combination. But that’s not all, we also get to hear Phil on his custom made Olson Acoustic Electric guitar plugged in too. That Dual Tap Delay together with the egg is and interesting combination also to say the least. Makes me want to go and get some guitar gear myself.
For a guy with 9 fingers (I read some of his biography, you should read it too) Phil sure plays great, I feel pretty confidante to say that Phil can play more guitar styles better than most 10 finger guitarists out there.
You can read more of Phil Keaggy's life here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Keaggy
You really should not miss out on this video, I’ve seen it a few times already. And probably going to see it a few times more. It’s great inspiration to watch great guitarists play, even if they are just messing around. And if you like Phil Keaggy you should not miss this video either Phil Keaggy - The Wind and the Wheat - Acoustic Electric Guitar Instrumental 1987
Personally I have a lot of new ideas however, stuff to write about.. Music wallpapers and of course guitar wallpapers have a few ideas there too, still in my head though got to get it out if I just could find the time to do it. And I have been thinking about making some videos too, but all that takes time to put together. So there’s a lot of stuff going on behind the scene. Stay tuned and wait and see what’s showing up next.
Oh and if you like this video of Phil Keaggy you will also like this new one I posted.
Enjoy :)
