♫ Olson Acoustic Visual Sound Route 66 Pedal - True Sound Clean Boost
Hi all,
Phil Keaggy is here seen performing his song Just the Same at Wheaton College. Now before I go on, this song Just the Same sure have been around a long time.
It's found on his album Love Broke Thru that came out 1976. Of course on the album Phil have backup and other instruments playing along, so what we see here is him playing solo. Also most of the lyrics are different in this version.. But hey you can do that, it's after all his song. And it sounds great.
I like this performance, the way Phil use the different loops and delays to keep the song going while he's playing and singing is really fun to watch. I have been thinking about getting me one of these delays too, but they are a bit pricey.
Expect to fork out around $200 for a decent one and a bit less for the ones that have less functions and inputs. And of course you would need a microphone or have a acoustic electric guitar to be able to fully use these too. So yeah it's not something you go and get just like that, at least not in this recession.
But here it is, enjoy.
